Second grade elementary students have started “ Dictation “ . With this learning activity, the teacher reads a short sentence four times. The first two times, the sentences are read in the teacher’s natural speed. The third time is read slow with clear pronunciation of the letters ( phonics ). The fourth time is read very slow. If students make mistakes, the teacher will give hints to the students so they can fix their own mistakes. Before every dictation activity, we practice one letter phonics so students can remember the sounds of the letters. This is listening and writing study. I am so proud of you. well done to all!
